This combination contains dexamethasone, an anti-inflammatory glucocorticoid, dibucaine (cinchocaine), a local anesthetic and long-acting chinoline derivative, and butanediol, a polyvalent alcohol with antiseptic properties. It is used in the therapy of inflammatory diseases of the ear such as auditory canal eczema and otitis media.
